Thank you to all who helped make our spring fundraiser a success. As a result, we have two new bikes and two new cars!
Pre-K Graduation
Little Ones will be hosting our Pre-Kindergarten graduation ceremony on Friday, June 22 at 7:00 p.m. This event features all who will be leaving for Kindergarten or T-K in the fall. This momentous event will be held here in the church auditorium. Parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles and any other special people are invited. Make sure to mark your calendar for this most auspicious occasion!
Book Orders
Please see the attached book order forms for all your book shopping needs. Every time you order a book, Little Ones receives credit towards books for our library. Please note that book orders are due by Friday, April 13th.
Teacher Appreciation Week
It’s that time of year again! We know how much you love and appreciate your child’s teacher so what better way to tell them than with lots of love during our Teacher Appreciation Week? Little Ones is so blessed to have the most dedicated and hardworking teachers there are! This year’s Teacher Appreciation Week will be held May 7th-11th.
- Monday – Stationery/Coffee Mug Day
- Tuesday –Gift Card/ Greeting Card Day
- Wednesday – Dessert Day
- Thursday – Flower Day
- Friday – Bath /Lotion Day
Little Ones Clothing
If your child has borrowed any of Little Ones’ extra clothing, please bring it back. Also, please remember, we always welcome donations of clothing that your child has outgrown.
Changes in Your Child’s Schedule
If there are going to be any type of permanent changes in your child’s schedule, it must be submitted in writing. For the accuracy of your tuition and our staffing, please jot a note and stick it in the office. Thank you!
10 Tips for Positive Parenting
Be a good role model. Your child learns from the example you set.
- Give your child praise and hugs, and say “I love you” often.
- Set simple rules and consequences, and enforce them consistently.
- Discipline fairly, firmly, and with love . Never use violence or put-downs.
- Show respect for your child’s thoughts and feelings.
- Spend a lot of time with your child, no matter how busy you are.
- Know what’s going on in your child’s life, both at school and with friends.
- Encourage daily learning outside of school, especially reading and math.
- Make sure your child gets enough healthy foods, exercise, and sleep daily.
- Keep your sense of humor and manage stress in healthy ways. If you feel overwhelmed, arrange for some outside help.
